Samsung Will Give You A New Phone Plus $100 For Your Fiery Note 7

Samsung’s second Galaxy Note 7 recall is now official. The Galaxy Note 7 that has been going up in smokes everywhere is unlikely to return to stores, as Samsung already stopped production and is looking to discontinue the model altogether after the replacement handsets also had the same issues.

But Samsung still has to replace a few million Galaxy Note 7 devices that are currently in use. Buyers can exchange the Note 7 for any other device, or ask for a full refund. They are trying to keep their customers though, and will pay $100 to each person who stays with the company by choosing a different Galaxy device.

They are offering up to a $100 bill credit from select carrier or retail outlets if you exchange your Galaxy Note7 for another Samsung smartphone, less any incentive credits already received. If you already exchanged your Galaxy Note7 device for another Samsung smartphone, you will receive up to a $75 bill credit from select carrier or retail outlets in addition to the $25 you previously received with their first trad-in bonus.

You can find more information here in their press release.
