Amazon launched today a new feature for its U.S. Prime members called Prime Reading, which provides members a selection of reading materials that includes Kindle books and magazines at no additional cost.
Even if you don’t own a Kindle e-reader or a Fire tablet, you can still access this free content through a Kindle app on iOS and Android devices.
Prime reading currently included over one thousand books, magazines, comics, and more at no additional cost. Prime Reading also includes a rotating selection of full magazine issues like Sports Illustrated,PEOPLE, Popular Mechanics etc. Currently there are 42 magazines to choose from in total. Also available to Prime members are comics and short content in the form of Kindle Singles and Kindle Singles Classics.
Prime, which is Amazon’s $99-a-year loyalty program (or $10.99 a month), allows members to get free one-day or two-day delivery service with no limit on order size, early access to some deals and unlimited access to Prime Video. Recently they’ve added ad-free Twitch streaming and free audio book content. You can see the full list of Prime benefits here.
