Navy Federal Credit Union cashRewards Credit Card, $200 Sign Up Bonus

In addition to the $50 bonus for opening a savings account, Navy Federal Credit Union is offering a $200 sign up bonus after spending $3,000 in the first 3 months for their cashRewards Credit Card. This offer expires on October 3, 2016.

If your application is approved for an account with a credit line of less than $5,000, you will receive a Visa cashRewards Card. If your credit line is $5,000 or greater, you will receive a Visa Signature cashRewards Card. cashRewards benefits differ from Visa Signature cashRewards benefits; however, both cards receive rewards of 1.5% cash back on purchases.

This is the highest bonus they have offered on the card and it’s been available before even with a $2,000 spending requirement. Obviously not a great bonus as far as credit card bonuses go, but might be of interest to some that are finding limited opportunities with all the new restrictions on credit card sign up bonuses. Cash back rate is just OK at 1.5% but there’s other credit cards out there that will earn you 2% with no annual fee such as the Citi Double Cash card.

Who Can Apply

Eligible members include Active Duty, retired, reservists, Coast Guard, Army and Air National Guard, as well as DoD personnel, contractors and immediate family members (parents, siblings, grandparents, children and grandchildren).
