Citigold Checking, 40K ThankYou Points Sign Up Bonus

Besides the 50K AA bonus, Citigold also has a sign up offer for 40K ThankYou points. This offer has been higher in the past, but it’s still a good one, especially when combined with the credit card funding. You need to sign up before 3/31/16.

This offer is available to targeted Citi cardmembers who receive this communication and who have an existing ThankYou Member Account associated with their Citi credit card. but you should be able to apply and receive the bonus even if you weren’t targeted.  Make sure to use promo code 4368UUP5LV.

To qualify to earn bonus ThankYou Points, open a new Citigold Account Package by 3/31/16. Then, within 60 days after account opening, 1 qualifying bill payment must be posted to the new checking account each month for two consecutive calendar months. Read the terms here.

The bonus ThankYou Points will be credited to your existing ThankYou Member Account within 90 days from the end of the statement period in which you complete all offer requirements.

  1. Will the points expire if you transfer them to a TYP CC? I have seen reports that transferred points only last 90 days. Can you confirm or deny this?

  2. I applied for new citigold account but still now there is no confirmation about the account open? When I filled in all my details. I got a screen your application is being processed then after there is no email or mail ? is this normal? should i call then enquire about my new account? Please advise
