Staples Rebates, Get $20 on $300+ Purchase In Visa Gift Cards

Staples is back again with one of their $20 rebates. Starting on Sunday 5/24/2015 Staples is offering a $20 prepaid Visa card rebate when you purchase $300 or more in Visa gift cards. Deal ends on 5/30/2015. The $20 rebate will already give you a small profit, but when combined with one of the Chase Ink cards [5X Ultimate Rewards] or Amex SimplyCash [5% back] the deal becomes much much better.

Visa Gift Card

The deal is valid in store only and you can only receive one rebate per household, so you might need the help of friends and relatives to use more than one address when you fill out the rebate forms online. The $20 gift cards are issued by Metabank and cab be easily loaded into Bluebird/Serve or used for everyday purchases anywhere.

How to Maximize Profits

The best way to maximize your returm, would be to purchase two $200 VGCs for every transaction. The total cost will be $413.90 and you’ll already make a profit of $6.10 after the $20 rebate. But on top of that you will also receive 2,070 CHASE UR points if you’re using your Chase Ink cards.

  2. This is my first time buying these cards. Do you suggest filling out and mailing in the form or doing it online? It doesn’t look like I can upload the rebate receipt online.

    • You can easily do it online. You don”t need to upload the rebate receipt, just enter the Easy Rebate ID that it’s printed on the bottom of the receipt and then fill out your name and address and submit. It’s quick and easy and much more convenient that mailing in the form.

  3. This is the usual staples rebate deal. You can buy 2K a day for 7 days. That’s 35 x $20 rebates. And I have managed to get all35 with variations of 3 addresses. lots of free money and lots of ur points with my ink plus

  4. I saw this deal once before and people seem to get excited but how is this a money maker? You can only do it once per household. So maybe earn $40-60 with some effort and if you have friends that are willing to let you use their address? Sorry if this a newbie question… I am one

    • This offer isn’t scalable. It’s not even guaranteed that people who use different addresses with their name on it will be approved. People on FT reported they got flagged for submitting more than one receipt using a different address. The deal at Office Depot-Office Max is scalable, this one is not.

      • Hey Ellen, I believe this is the same offer that staples brings back every few months, unless I have missed something. With a few different names and addresses you can receive multiple rebates.
